Community Events Lending Library
Make your next gathering a little easier to host by borrowing from the Events Lending Library.
Group Project x Civic WorksThe Community Events Lending Library is a partnership between Civic Works and Group Project will be a borrowing system of event supplies, tech, and furniture for organizers across New Haven to more easily host gatherings.
Hosting an event takes a lot of work, and can require organizers to coordinate the borrowing or buying of many different physical items like tables, chairs, or a mic and PA that can be expensive, hard to store, and used infrequently by an individual organizer or group. This lending library will reduce the burden on organizers by gathering, storing and taking care of these items on behalf of the commons so that community members can affordably borrow items that they otherwise would not be able to, allowing them to host more successful, impactful and joyous community gatherings.
Donate SUpplies
We’re still building up our inventory and systems, but are welcoming items for donation like: Chalkboard signs, Folding chairs, Microphone and stand, Bluetooth speaker, PA system, Coolers, Air purifiers, Music stand/podium, Extension cords, Walkie talkies, Reusable nametags
