Meet these simple requirements to bring your neighborhood event to life:
Organized by New Haven Resident: Applicant must be a New Haven resident and the event that takes place in New Haven.
Free & Open to the Public: The event must be free of charge and open to the public. No tickets, fees, or restricted access.
Ideally, Recurring: This grant is meant to be a spark to ignite regular neighborhood activities like Sunday pickup basketball games.
Storytelling: Applicant will provide a simple report that provides (1) Answers to 3-4 questions about your experience; (2) The # of neighbors who came; (3) 2-3 pictures of the event; and (4) A short story or quote from the gathering.
For this round, Know Your Neighbors is funded in part by With Neighbors — which will receive your report, may like to feature your story, and will be the administer of the funds.
